Here at OurGreenRoom we are massive fans of Scandinavian design (in case you can’t tell) and nestled in between many other quirky little independent shops in Bath, just a stone’s throw from the main street is Shannon. It’s packed full of the most fantastic selection of scandanavian furniture, fabrics, gifts and accessories I think we have ever laid eyes on.
Brands for sale include Marimekko, Iittalla, Mairo, Moomin, Klippan – the list of prestigious brands available is endless. And the products available – anything from cutlery and tea towels to full sets of dining furniture, and not just stuff for your kitchen, Shannon boasts (we’ve heard) the largest selection of Marimekko fabric in the UK! So something for the crafter in you too.
And if you looking for a quirky gift look no further – we picked up a lovely little Moomin soft toy for our new baby. Beats anything you can get from the regular high street stores or supermarkets and it’s great to know our little baby has something a bit different.
If like us you are into Scandinavian design, then its well worth a visit, the fantastic collection the owner Sue has built up over the years is well worth boasting about.
